Hello Bukley. Welcome to this forum.

The question as to whether anyone has or has not seen an alien spaceship has not been resolved and is better discussed in the Conspiracy Theory section of this forum.

If there were creditable evidence of an advanced propulsion system then it might be possible to reverse engineer the observations.

From a fundamental scientific standpoint there is no indication manipulating magnetic fields could be used for propulsion.

Comment:
There is an interesting article in the February, 2009 issue of Scientific American on ion drives.
