Hi Pascal - I'm not even using an LCD monitor. Somewhere I read they are not the "best" to use when you're using Photoshop, which I seem to live in some days. I seem to remember reading somewhere that the contrast levels are too great, like 3000:1, and if you adjust your astrophotos so they look right with an LCD, then people (like me) with non-LCD monitors won't be able to take advantage of the increased contrast, and the images won't display properly. I don't know. As far as I can tell, whenever I print any images, they seem to match very closely with what I see on the screen. Maybe my printer's dying also...bummer! My monitor at work seems to be very, very slightly brighter than my monitor here at home, but the difference is negligible. That monitor is not an LCD one either. Probably time I entered the 21st century!
