Default Finding a date

I know what you were thinking, but I had a different date in mind.
Going through my slides, I noticed these 3 photos. I assume they are Hyakutake, but the slide date said Aug 1997. That's a year and a half past Hyakutake time.
I don't recall Hale Bopp ever looking remotely like this.
The images were most likely shot with my 300mm lens, possibly a 70-210.

I think that I must have pulled a roll of film from one of my cameras, so I could reload with a fresh roll, then forgot about these shots. At some point anyway, they were developed in '97 ...........but that doesn't help me much.

I have been going nuts trying to discover the date these were taken by viewing images of the comet wherever I can find them.
I'm hoping some of you might be familiar with the stars in the photo to help me find the location......... this might narrow my search a bit. I recall that Hyakutake was fast and moved quite a bit each night..........maybe each hour. This makes the date ID even harder.

I live on the Oregon coast in the US if that makes any difference in the comets relationship to the stars.

The 4th image with the short tail was taken in late March '96............. I'm guessing 19th to 21st ? I can't find that either through searching on google. The other images are more of an issue because of so little detail.

Anyway, if any of you are bored and have a clue, let me know. Not being a true astronomy guru like most of you guys are, I'm kinda helpless on this one.
If it helps any, the camera was pointed up and it was dark outside.
Thanks in advance. I won't die if I can't figure it out, so don't waste too much of your time.
