I think we all agree on this point. Creationism is a religious view and not a scientific one, thus it is not fair to teach it as such, especially in a science classroom. There are other places, even in education, that it can be mentioned, as in the social sciences. But we are getting far off topic.

Yes, and understanding the differences between religion, philosophy, and modern science and how they interact should grant us all taller shoulders to stand upon.
