This may be because what you stated isn't convincing. You make a lot of claims (and, mind you,
not one is original) based on your personal belief, but you fail at providing evidence/examples to back up these claims. I, for one, await just such examples.
BTW, a not verbatim quote is commonly called a paraphrase.
