There is a man around here a few friends know, Dr Thomas Campbell, a nuclear physicist and author of the trilogy My Big TOE. He is apparently a powerful presence. Sometimes I am in the unfortunate position of being involved in a conversation where his work is brought up. At that point, I find myself picking it apart while trying not to offend anyone. Does anyone know this guy? Is anything about his theories respected in the realm of scientists? Is it psychometaphysics? And, if so, is he at least good at it? And, again, if so, why does he name it for a well-known physical term, a TOE?
