Perfectly acceptable in this situation. It still makes me twitch, though.
I use "you fail." Or "[noun] fail," sometimes. Then again, I may be, contrary to popular belief, less inclined to draw attention to another person's embarassing mistakes just because the idea of a mistake is funny. (There is, however, such thing as a funny mistake.) Heh. And while I saw
Wayne's World in the theatre during my freshman year in high school, I never really got into "not," either. We did, however, use "No way!" "Way!" A lot. It probably drove my mother nuts.
