i think stuff like the "...FAIL!" thing came about becasue everyone is invincible when sitting at home and typing away on the computer and sending messages over the magical interweb machine. for some reason, people like to tear apart the accomplishments of other people.
this is one of those things that will never be said out loud in a face to face situation, mostly out of fear of actual physical retribution.
