Well, yes, apparent because here we are. And I agree on the "structure principle," though I think it's broader than just bio-oriented. Life needs a good variety of interacting elements and molecules. (Their "chaotic" interaction can happen upon auto-catalysis, and you're off and running.) But the required variety of elements weren't even here at the beginning, and they didn't begin to be "manufactured" in the first stars for nearly a billion years.
