I think you were right before when you guessed that it might just be a group of teenaged kids. That would explain the immature behavior, several psuedonyms, horrible writing skills, free e-mail addresses, etc.

(Though I realize that Sibrel, a grown man, hasn't acted much more maturely than "Charles Hawkins".)
