I love the way they (the yellowstoners

) are screaming about the worst. They obviously don't know how a caldera works. You wont see a rise in elevation of the area above the magma chamber before the eruption. The whole point behind a caldera is that the lava cannot get out and the land above the chamber cannot stretch any further.
So the magma builds up in pressure over time (while that mound over the chamber remains silent and the same size) until something cracks and it goes BOOM!
I thought about saying that to them, but you know how the GLP doomsayers are. :wink:
