Not I – Samu has stated that he believes that the Blackbird could obtain orbital flight.

I was just questioning his calculation of 220 mph airspeed at 85,000 feet. I just thought airspeed for any given altitude would be greater than the ground speed - which is not very much according to GOW (thanks BTW).

One additional thing Samu – please look carefully at pictures of the SR71 – there are no RCS thruster ports in any of the photos – these are very visible on vehicles such as the X15 – RCS thrusters are absolutely necessary if the plane was designed for non atmospheric fight.
