And $1500+ could have bought: a couple of well made 200mm Dobsonian telescopes for the science department - or some excellent eyepieces - or another desktop computer - or a bunch of important new books - or a lecture from a real visiting scientist who isn't famous but knows an area of research that is important - or helped pay for a proposed student astronomy experiment - or - or ... :roll:
