Hmmmm. The coward and liar remarks may weaken Sibrel's case. Depending on how he delivered them--was he up in Aldrin's face? Was he blocking his path?--it could fit the legal definition of assualt: threat of physical violence. For instance, it's assualt if I scream at someone, yelling obscenities in his or her face. But it's battery if I actually slug them. So... at the very least... perhaps Aldrin can get Sibrel in trouble with the law. And because the altercation took place on private property (and the hotel staff asked Sibrel to leave? That's important....), it's also tresspassing. Sibrel doesn't really know what he's doing; it strikes me that he was trying to spark a confrontation (hence the strange smile), but that he didn't know the law very well.

If you're going to pull the "he attacked me" card, you have to be on public property (sidewalk works nicely) and not be anywhere near the legal definition of assault. So I hope his jaw hurts like a mutha....
