Most of our observation of the moon is done from the surface of earth. Objects 1 meter apart on the surface of the moon appear about 1/2000th of an arcsecond apart when viewed from Earth, so don't hold your breath for being able to see Armstrongs footprints.
The only way to get photos of the landing sites would be from lunar orbit. Why bother though? STFU doesn't cost 100 million Euros.
