If you are on a NASA list serve, I'd get off it. I was on pro-med. It is a great site for monitoring infectious diseases but virus senders started using their e-mail list almost daily. I got off and had to block the site as well.
If the e-mails came to you as spam, it should be pretty obvious they weren't from NASA. You shouldn't even have to ask.
Once your e-mail address gets to one wrong site, the spam starts coming en-mass. Don't encourage the jerks by going to any of the links.
