Thanks for the welcome. I forgot to list my source in my last post so here it is:

My guess to the explosive statement is that NASA gives a TNT equivilent in kinetic energy. An explosive tipped impactor would give very false readings when looking for crater size. I guess in all those years as an Army combat engineer I did learn something. #-o
