Yes, these little gimmicks have been in Microsloth products for many years and versions. And it still hasn't occured to them that they could be contributing to the stability and performance problems of their products (not that Microsoft really cares about either problem so long as OEM's continue bundling their products with their systems).
There are no Easter eggs for XP
