I caught the show just before departing for weekend travel away from my computer. Nice discussion here.

BA, I think the comments are on target about operating under severe time constraints being a totally different strategy then a longer format. My own style is more in-your-face than yours (you are a gentleman, I am not), with a set of short jabs on pre-selected themes already prepared for delivery according to MY agenda, not based on reacting to the whims of the host or the latest hand-waving of the adversary.

Bart is known to bring up new stuff -- so a pre-scripted jab is that he abandons his wounded, dropping failed 'evidence' by the wayside like a frantic picnicker running away from swarming ants and casting off clothes. Always a 'new' argument -- evidence that he realizes all the OLD arguments have been discredited.

Regarding the alleged low-earth-orbit relay of the 'cut-out', how long did that sequence last? He says it was relayed from Goldstone. Goldstone is a Deep Space Network antenna, it can't track in low earth orbit, and no antenna anywhere can relay signals for more than 5-6 minutes horizon-to-horizon. To get uninterrupted comm for a period as long as this sequence REQUIRES you to be beyond LEO.
