A lot of people saw the module as it orbited the Earth before the burn to put it in a lunar trajectory. But since it was 30+ years ago now, it's easy to simply ignore them when making these silly claims.

That brings up an interesting point. That being the case, aren't there photos taken through telescopes by astronomers the world over who have no ties to NASA? Shouldn't there be some in LEO but none after that? Just a few would presumably be enough to at least prove something went into space.
