I wonder if using one or other of the alternating colors from the BABB forum's topic posts--either light grey or light blue--as background would soften the look?
We don't want to go too far copying look & feel from the BABB, because it has to be clear our site is not officially connected with the Bad Astronomy empire
, but maybe a color or two wouldn't hurt?
Maybe the project names just above the logos could be in larger type?

the Good, the Bad, the Astronomy should be italicized or in quotes, since it was lifted verbatim (by me
ops: ) from the subtitle of the Blog.
And I do think we eventually have to go with a reduced size version of the official orbit@home logo, much as I prefer the simplicity and elegance of the design by Finla that we're currently using.
When I've slept, I have some ideas on the stats pages; somehow since they are at an earlier stage I feel more comfortable posting about the stats pages in Scotsons Shack. Everyone is welcome to take a look at that thread of course, and post about those pages here or there. Here's a
