A lot of my firends, after watching "In a mirror, darkly" said that THIS is what Enterprise should have been from the beginning.

Of course it would go straight to cable (HBO,maybe). Network TV would never play it (not even FOX).

The best thing about it is that, if you don't like a character, wait around a few episodes. He'll be dead soon.

As an aside, we tried to think of a sci-fi novel where the sadistic society flourishes as the prinicipal vehicle for the story. Not many out there.
