You misunderstood... I wasn't talking about plate tectonics... there is a theory that's mostly unaccepted (I haven't made my mind up about it - too little evidence) that says the entire crust of the Earth could shift as a whole, not in fragments, almost as if the skin of an orange could move... er, that sentence doesn't make much sense but hey, it's 4am LOL
