Going back to the big slam thing, I'm wondering why Michael thinks that matter could never have been so close together. He mentions galaxy collision but they are a different thing. The big bang is baiscally extrapolating the
Robertson Walker Metric to a scale factor of zero. It has little to do with colliding galaxies in the current universe.
