I'm using IE 5.0. I tried to install 5.5, but I wasn't able to
jump through MS's hoops. I downloaded the minimal IE 5.5
which was 7 MB of files, clicked on the installer, it tells me it
needs a different version of the installer (huh?), I download
and install the different installer. Click again to install IE 5.5,
it tells me it needs to go back online and download IE 5.5,
which is 26 MB. Multi-hour download. I start downloading.
Maybe 40 minutes later it crashes. Try to resume the
download, it starts at the beginning.

MS software isn't bad-- it's just that the people who make
and market it are evil, soulless, bloodsucking demons.

I can find an alternative browser on my own, but can you
tell me what software the map requires?
