Neil deGrasse Tyson is an astrophysicist and current director of the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History. He does a lot of writing and TV appearances bringing science to the general public. He did a series for Nova last fall called
Origins and he shows up occasionally on other TV programs. He also writes a monthly column for
Natural History magazine.
