There shouldn't be any problems, and it won't hurt to try. I can vouch for them as good programs that find many, many nasty things and get rid of them.

Incidentally when I was visiting the Dilbert site again, using Firefox, that Winfix 2005 tried to come back. I thought Firefox was not supposed to be affected by these things. BTW can someone report this to Scott Adams, just incase his site is compromised, for the moment I am keeping away from it.

Firefox isn't, and the Dilbert website is fine. The virus was probably simply running in the background and chose then to make itself known.
