I'm afraid to say Sticks that at this point a clean install is about all I can recommend, that original virus seems to have allowed others in that are deleting files, escaping detection, and blocking device drivers. I recommend you find every file you want to keep and either burn them onto CD, zip them and store them on floppies, or back them up somehow. Then if you know how to re-format a hard drive do so and re-install Windows. If you don't know how do some Google searches for how to do it. If you still don't feel comfortable call the engineer to do it for you, but Installing Windows is fairly painless, it just takes a long time.
