I often say that when you can measure what you are speaking about, and express it in numbers, you know something about it; but when you cannot measure it, when you cannot express it in numbers, your knowledge is of a meagre and unsatisfactory kind.
Are the theories on stellar evolution, accretion disks, fossil field, and other cosmic concepts based on numbers, no? So to suggest that numbers are needed in order to validate or consider a theory is not always true. As far as being banned I did not know all were lifted how could I, but it was the courteous thing to do.
