Hello everyone, I'm new and I came on to try and find information about Jupiter's atmosphere. I'm an amatuer science fiction writer, and I want to avoid Bad Astronomy in my work. Everywhere I go to find information about Jupiter's atmosphere, I find mostly reasonable speculation, or scant information from spectroscopy and Gallileo. Is there any available information about the differences in electrical potential between different strata in the atmosphere, and the chemical compostions of the various strata, and other "climate" information?

Is there just not much known in that much detail?
