Sorry about the confustion; its hard to do math in text format, and I messed that one up. The Hubble constant is traditonally expressed ("Bad Astronomy" if there ever was!) in km/mpc (per second), instead of ppt/yr. To get rid of the km/mpc, we multiply by the # of mpc/km, which is the same as dividing by the # of km/mpc, which is what I did there.
