GLAST will be able to measure gammas up to about 10GeV, which puts it in the 'maybe' range for detecting the effect. Maybe it will observe it, maybe it will be borderline, and not conclusive.

None the less, I am very interested in the GLAST results, since they are going to come well before any experiment such as the one I suggested above could ever be built.
