Because it doesn't matter that the largest rocket engine ever
is the Space Shuttle solid rocket motor. (That was a question
and answer in a Space trivia quiz I wrote in the 1980's.)

Am I in the right place?

(I asked Buzz Aldrin that question when he and I were alone
together in a room in the US Space and Rocket Center in
Huntsville, Alabama. Aldrin's specialty in his graduate work
in college, and in the Gemini and Apollo programs at NASA,
was navigation. That is, determining where you are and
which way you should go. He said "Yes." I wasn't in the
right place, though.)
