As suggested by my username I have an old Celestron Orange tube SCT. It is a C8 from 1979. Great scope and I got a great deal on it from a fellow astro club member who was upgrading to a modern 10" GPS unit. I also have a pair of 9x63 Orion Mini Giants that get a great deal of use. I find these to be a great trade off of aperature, magnification, and hand holdability.
