As this thread has strayed far from a discussion of the Electric Sun idea, within the framework of all such ATM discussions of EU ideas, it will be closed.

If any BAUT member wishes to present something on the Electric Sun idea, please PM a moderator, and this thread will be re-opened.

Please note that Electric Sun presentations require at least one of the following:

* If the "electric sun" is some kind of circuit model, then answers to at least some of these questions (source):
1) What role does the sun play in the circuit? Battery or EMF, capacitor, inductor, resistor, something else?
2) What is the current flow, negative or positive charge carriers?
3) Where does the current flow from/to? What does the circuit look like?

* clear presentations of ways in which the class of ES idea shown in tusenfem's post to be strongly inconsistent with good observational results may yet be rescued.

* discussion of the class of ES idea presented by galacsi.

* clear presentations of other classes of ES idea, as long as they include clear statements of how they differ from the other two classes.

* questions on and challenges to posts in support of any ES idea, especially those which attempt to rescue 'circuit' ES ideas, and those in support of 'capacitor' ES ideas.
