Thank you Jigsaw! I'm pretty under the weather today and didn't have a chance to start transcribing. Appreciate your efforts.
I'll put in something about the mammoths and so forth on one of these threads (as I've promised.) I'm a "defrocked biologist" (with a Bachelors' in biology, recent columnist on wildscaping, licensed by Texas to teach high school biology... but because the pay is so darn lousy, I took a Masters' from the Dept of Biomedical Engineering -- which is how I ended up as a computer geek.) I can address some of the archaeological aspects as well, since I frequently debate creationists.
One piece of evidence for the prosecution that hasn't been discussed is the effect of this mythical planet on the aurora borealis. I know almost nothing about the aurora, but it seems that if there were some drastic earth changes going on (particularly in the magnetic field) that we might see some impact on the aurora... or not.
Anybody familiar enough with the aurora to comment on that idea? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
