Its easy enough to do. I've often held that a lot of nature documentaries are filmed with a slant similar to Triumph Of The Will. In many documentaries, all human endeavor is reduced to two images of a mine and a dump.

If all I did was shoot a hair-lipped two-spot horny toad eating and defecating and reduce its life in such a way--it would be called bad filmaking.
