The Lituya Bay Tsunami was a fast sharp angle landslide that created a pressure wave of air behind the initial wave that did not allow the wave to fall behind. This enabled the wave to attain its height in the forward motion.
Etna landslip would not achieve such an angle or speed of landslide to create a mega tsunami.
