Black Holes, Event Horizons, and Dark Energy
I don't know why this never occured to me before, but what happens to the Dark Energy that gets sucked into the event horizon of a black hole?
I realize this is a bit of a loaded question, since no one really knows precisely what Dark Energy is, just how it appears to effect space.
What made me wonder was the Hawking Radiation thread, and the fact that the universal event horizon appears to be shrinking (right?), due to Dark Energy. So this made me think "can Dark Energy escape a black hole", which then made me think "if it can, that's significant since it accounts for the bulk of the Universe."
Anyway, thanks for any help, even if it's "who knows such things?"
