A Soyuz rocket failed due to contamination in a fuel line leading to a catastrophic turbopump failure. One Russian soldier on the ground was killed when the vehicle fell onto a gas station on the ground near Plesetsk Cosmodrome. Fortunately, the resulting fire was controlled and no more lives were lost.
