Of course it was the moderators. They've been
over-run by non-space/astronomy related CT's and were tired of moderatoring those threads.
ToSeek said as much on the other thread. It should come as no surprise that after a certain amount of complaints from the mods., the Admin. would
re-examine the rules to eliminate those threads.
