My son a few years ago had to do an oral presentation of FDR, complete with a handmade puppet for his 5th grade history class. The thought did occur to use a straw as the cigarette holder, but I didn't want him to get in any trouble with the PC police, so he mentioned the cigarette holder, showed a couple pictures and commented on not being allowed to bring one in (and got a chuckle from the audience).
