Alright the board is brand new, but if you want to get more out of it, you can change a few settings. These allow for formatting and thus smilies.

To do this go to UserCP> Edit Options (in toolbar on left) > Message Editor Interface (bottom of page) > Enhanced Interface (in drop down menu) > Save changes.

So I can make my text bold and italic. Change color

There seems to be a limit of one smilie per post. Is that adjustable? I can see preventing posts with a hundred winks or LOLs, but being able to drop in a handful would be nice.

Also, is this BB format compatible with animated smiles? I miss our old "D'oh!" guy, and the blushing one.

It should be, to the best of my knowledge. I'm not sure what's involved with importing them though.

The admins need to up the IMG tag limit from one per post to a more user friendly limit of say 5 per post.

As to your old smilies if you've got saved them to disc then all you need to do is upload them to a web site, then link to that image.

Yeah but It shouldn't be two hard to import them... on phpBB there is a whole lot you can import, takes a cpl of seconds. I suppose they'll add them- but I think They've got tonn's of other stuff to do at the moment.
