Doodler's account has been suspended for 72 hours, for ad-hominem use.

sol88 has been banned for repeatedly promoting ATM ideas outside the ATM threads devoted specifically to discussing them, despite having been warned several times.

nduriri has been banned for a week for ad hom attacks. Please note that he is irritated that we are not embracing a theory, and intentionally violated the rules in his last post, but it is our policy to not give someone a life-time ban unless this sort of thing is repeated.

I think it is unrealistic in this case to expect him/her to embrace the BAUT forum culture anytime soon, but there's always a chance.

Jerry Jensen's account has been suspended until October.

He requested a sabbatical from defending his ATM idea, and had agreed to refrain from posting until he could resume that defence. He broke that agreement (several times).

jnduriri has been banned for life. This is a sock puppet for nduriri, who will stop being suspended in a few days. I'm working on the idea that he/she is very new, and doesn't realize that sock puppetry is a hanging offense around here. Most people would get banned for life for this kind of trick.

inverse has been banned for refusal to follow our forum rules and ignoring moderator warnings in that regard.

Some members have expressed a concern that Jerry Jensen was banned for violating his sabbatical from defending his ATM idea for posting elsewhere when publicly he said he would be posting occasionally.

However, via PMs, he promised the moderators that he would not be posting at all during this period.

His ban is temporary, and is solely to ensure that he keeps this promise.

EDIT: We have good reason to believe based on behavior, IP address, and time of registration that OneEleven is a sock puppet for a user who has previously been here (and banned) as soupdragon2, Sparky56, P.Ashmah, Sani5, 111Celt, Neried, and Neired. - ToSeek

Attiyah Zahdeh's account has been suspended for three days, for persistent refusal to answer direct, pertinent questions about the ATM ideas he presented, despite having been warned that continued failure to answer such questions would result in suspension.

For continued refusal to answer such questions, despite clear warning that this would result in being banned, Attiyah Zahdeh's account has been suspended for a month.

johnathan has been suspended for three days for ad hom attacks. It is my hope that this was an isolated thing, and in this case, this is not a sign of things to come.

Monique has been suspended for one day for too much politics in the OTB version of the North Korean Nukes thread. See posts #44, #48, and #118. There were a few moderator warnings, which she ignored. The suspension is short because of lack of prior trouble.
