I agree with Wolverine. I just use the 'post quick reply' section nowadays to post anyway.

A single quote is easy to fix manually, but sometimes there are more quotes in the quoted reply.
As Van Rijn pointed out the worst case is when there are multiple nested quotes; quoting the whole post gives you a bunch of phrases whitout much logical connection between them since the connection was made by the quote-in-quote parts. And the more nested is the quoted reply the more difficult becomes to fix it manually. The old BABB board had this capability; I don't know if this board has it. I don't know if the administrators deactivate it or it is off by default and must be specifically activated. If this issue hasn't been already raised and settled I'd like to ask what are the options of this board for this quoting issue. |
