Andy Lloyds reply to his banning on these forums

As a friend of Andy, I think it is only right for me to ask why he was banned from these forums? If the admins here disagree with him announcing that he has just written a book about Planet X which will answer a lot of the questions that are asked on this board, then why do they advertise movies, sell T shirts and have many advertisers on this site?

Isnt it hypocritical to not allow a poster to answer questions that are being asked? His ban came very quickly and for what? He never acted in a malicious or condescending way, his post was on topic and the readers here wanted him to answer questions.

Well heres a page hes put up about this situation on his website. I agree that this seems to smack of censorship. Andy has been visiting this site for quite some time now to debate the Planet X subject and all of a sudden he cannot have a voice simply because he has written a book about the subject.

Anyway, this is his reply to this board:

So this all leads me to ask, why was Andy banned for simply debating Planet X which is on topic. He also just linked to his site for anyone interested in his theory - whats wrong with that?

Moonrock, I've answered your questions at length, here. I must also direct you to review the forum rules.

7. Second & Third Party Posting

Do not post on behalf of other people. In other words, if someone you know has something to say relevant to the discussion in a thread, have them register and post it. Think of them as a copyrighted source: you can quote them in short amounts, but if there is something substantial they want to add, they must do it themselves.

Your above post violates this rule, and I'm obligated to remove the text you've quoted. As noted in my post linked above, you're welcome to appeal the decision by contacting the forum's administrators.
