How can I include a bitmap?

I wish to include a bitmap in one of my posts. But if I try to do so, I am asked for an URL. The bitmap, however, doesn't come from a website, it comes from my own harddisk. (I drew it myself.)

Copy and paste doesn't work either; there's nothing to paste, or even if there is, nothing appears when I try to do so.

You should be able to upload a .bmp from your hard drive (up to 97.7 KB in size). When you click on "Manage Attachments", do you see all of the following window?
