Default Spoiler tags?

I was wondering if this forum uses the [Spoiler] tags. I made a test post and it looks like it doesn't.

The spoiler tags is available in nearly all other forums I visit. It hides the contents of everything in the tags and it can be accessed by clicking the button "show spoiler". I think it would be useful in topics which discuss recently released media or maybe in some games.

So, is it possible to have Spoiler tags in BAUT?

Fraser will have to address that one.

However, members have found a way to use spoilers.

Write out your message.
Place a spoiler alert before the message.
Use the format options to change the text color to white.
Readers can see the hidden text by placing the cursor before it, holding the left button on the mouse, and dragging the cursor over the text.

Like this:

Spoiler Alert!

This is my spoiler text.

Another use I've seen in other forums is the ability to put large pictures into the spoiler tags. This saves space and avoids long posts. It also allows the image to load in the background without interfering with the rest of the posts. The users with dial-up access can also use this feature to their advantage, having the ability to view the image embedded in the post after waiting for a few minutes for it to load.

An example is used here:

Yes, you can probably use a coin to turn a screw, but sir, the best tool to use is a screwdriver.

I feel having spoiler tags would encourage a new aspect of posting, one which could be applicable in a wide variety of topics in the the forums.

So a drill with the correct bit is not a better tool than a screwdriver?
