None of the links "| Post a comment |" work for me (Dec 3 to Nov 28 inclusive).

If I view a story, eg. "The Orion Nebula Seen in X-Rays", at the bottom of the page, the link "Post a comment |" does not work either. Link URL:

(Confirmed in Firefox v2 and MS IE 7)

A window pop up , I wrote a little comment and press the send button but just wait and wait and wait . . . until I canceled the send and quit the thread.

Yeah, I made a mention about this in the UT section. Unfortunately, the bridge between UT and BAUT is broken and I don't have the technical skills to keep it running. You can still comment on BAUT about the stories, and there are comments over on UT, sort of like how Phil does it with Bad Astronomy. This isn't my ideal method, but it's the most stable technically. If I can think of a better solution, I'll let you know.

You can't add the links manually? ie. You create the BAUT Forum thread containing the introductory post, and note the permalink to the thread (or your first post).

And then on Universe Today, you just add the permalink as a URL to the "Post a comment" link.

I don't understand this term... "manually". As a computer science student, it's my duty to find an automated tool to make everything happen by computer. You should ask my kids how little they like the food put together by Lunchbot 2000.

Seriously, though, I need to find some kind of long term solution. In my dream world, the comments made here, and the comments made on the blog are the same thing. So we don't have two separate conversations.
