Default Tiny windows... in my beer.

So what's up with the tiny quick reply window? Is it supposed to be that way or is this actually something that hasn't been reported a thousand times already? Am that far advanced as to notice such things while all others do not?

Say it ain't so.

Hey, get me. My first thread on this board and it's something that could be answered by a PM to an admin. I win at t3h interweb.

Yes; in the server upgrade threads.

So advanced to notice that, but not the other thread comments?

There's never a winner...only reigning champs, and even those are extremely short lived.

Edit: BTW. I think a new thread is appropriate anyway.

As I mentioned in the upgrade thread, mine is about half the width it used to be, both at home and at work (both use IE).

But you know, its not how big it is, its how you use it (the Quick Reply window of course).

I'm using IE now. Definitely a browser issue! Box is about 1/3 the size of the one I get in FireFox!

I got some spam this morning that offered something to fix tiny parts. Maybe we could send to the Chinese spammer's pharmacy?

31 characters wide in IE6, 56 in FF2. Also behaves differently: In IE the text wraps regardless of whether there's a space in it. FF scrolls if I make a long line of a single character.

(I used the letter "a"; I suppose other characters might be different.)

I'm into expansion, not down-sizing.

Hence the monitor I purchased during Christmas.

Small windows?

Thing of the past.

I love upgrades...
